First steps by bicycle in 2018

My first approach was: When I have 5 or 6 days per year and want to make 1.400 km, I have to go some way by bike, otherwise my project will last more than 10 years. The recommended hiking guide “Das Grüne Band — Wandern im wilden Deutschland” (Green Belt-Hiking in Wild Germany) lists 60 daytours from the South to the North of the former East-West-boarder.

So I started in Luebeck near the East / Baltic Sea by bike to complete a third of the itenarary in less than a week.

Lübeck: If you think Germans love signs, you are completely right. They adore them, the cannot get enough!

Annotation: Photos you finde here are mostly different from what you might expect. If I hike or bike, I always enjoy the beauty but rather take photos of what strikes me.
